So, now all we do is load the spoon up, hand it to him, he feeds himself, then hands the spoon back (or throws it on the floor...trying to encourage that a little less). It's brilliant! Go Jones go!

Such a smart little baby!
I am proud to announce that Jones started feeding himself with his own spoon about two weeks ago! It started when I was doing the B-52 bomber sound with a spoon full of yoghurt and he shook his head, said some kind of "mnah" sound, grabbed the spoon with Hurculean strength and then put the RIGHT END in his mouth! I didn't believe it was intentional until he did it again, and then the next day, and the day after that.
So, now all we do is load the spoon up, hand it to him, he feeds himself, then hands the spoon back (or throws it on the floor...trying to encourage that a little less). It's brilliant! Go Jones go!
