mother jones: We love you NC!

At last I have a spare moment to post the last few pics from our month-long NC extravaganza. These are a tiny selection of some of the fun we had in our very quick trip to Chapel Hill and Durham. Sadly, we were planning to stay in the Oxford house for a few days and do a sort of 'trial run' of living back in the triangle area but the pump on the heater broke and it was actually really, really cold...too cold to stay there. We did spend a couple nights in the Oxford Best Western, however, and managed capture one of the cutest bath pictures I've ever seen (as well as lose my Burt's Bees shampoo and conditioner and witness one of the sugary-est, carb-filled, nutrionless 'breakfasts' known to man).

I foolishly forgot to take any pictures of the newly painted Oxford house. It looks very sharp indeed! Just imagine a big, freshly painted, white house in lots of sunshine...sigh...
