Jones's Baptism - December 30, 2007

We had Jones Christened on the 30th of December at Grace Episcopal Church in Morganton, North Carolina. It was a really special event - even more than we thought it would be. His Godparents, Michelle Schmitt and Robert Sledge, and their spouses and offspring, Ben Herold and Heath and Archie Sledge, joined us from Philadelphia and Chapel Hill respectively. We were so honoured to have them with us!

In addition to God Momma and Poppa, we were joined by our parents, Mills (Uncle), Lisa (Aunt), Catherine (Aunt) and the cousins(Paul, Peter, David, Eric, James and Meredith), Mina (Jones's Great-Aunt) and Gan (Wilhemina Antley. Jones's amazing Great-Grandmother!!!). We were honoured to have all of them with us so much too!

The day was beautiful and we were able to capture many a pic of our wee bebe in his little Baptism dress and yellow kicks in many poses, most notably as the youngest of the four living generations of the Antley family!

So much love and thanks to everyone for making the occasion a very special one. Especially Michelle and Robert (and families!) who two of the most amazing people on this planet, who we hope Jones grows up to be just like!
