Despite initially hating his lovingly-crafted-by-Momma threads, he ended up wearing his costume, with the hat, for several hours both at a community party and during trick-or-treating (see the progression from fear and loathing to pure, obsessive adoration in the slideshow below). Although I asked him if he wanted to wear it again yesterday and he shook his head, definitively, and said, "no, Momma" (the subtext being, "it ain't Halloween anymore, woman! Get. Over. It."
He was on stage when we were out - hilarity - saying 'tickoteat' repeatedly until folks showed up with the goods and actually walking in to two different houses to find some more. Where on earth does he get his performing instincts...?!
