The 2nd and (most of the) 3rd weeks!



Well, we've had a hell of a couple of weeks enjoying our muffin-head - he continues to amaze and inspire - while having major repair work done on our kitchen...which was just fabulous timing. (Despite having had a broken drain in our kitchen for over seven months, the managing agents of our building decided the best time to fix it would clearly be when we actually HAD our baby...a ten day-old one to be exact. So...we had the pleasure of ripping up our kitchen and living like refugees in London (slight hyperbole perhaps, but just slight)for almost six solid days.)

Jones has come alive over these last two weeks: he opens his eyes a lot and stays awake for a good few hours each day. After his initial traumatic bath experience, he's grown to like the water and being changed. It's incredible witnessing the continuous formation and completion of his baby neural pathways.
